COE Rebates: A Guide for Motorcycle Owners

What is the COE Rebate?

When you deregister your motorcycle in Singapore, you may be eligible for a rebate on your Preferential Additional Registration Fee (PARF) and Certificate of Entitlement (COE). The amount of the rebate depends on the category of your motorcycle and the length of time you have owned it.

Category E Open all except motorcycle

If you choose to deregister your motorcycle at the end of your 10-year COE period, you may be granted a rebate of:

  • $3,500 if you do not renew your COE on or after 7 April 2018
  • $2,000 if you de-register your motorcycle on or before 5 April 2023

How to Apply for the COE Rebate

To apply for the COE rebate, you must submit an application to the Land Transport Authority (LTA). The application form can be found on the LTA website. You will need to provide the following information:

  • Your vehicle registration number
  • Your NRIC number
  • The date you deregistered your motorcycle
  • The category of your motorcycle

You can submit your application online, by mail, or in person at an LTA office.

Conclusion

The COE rebate is a valuable incentive for motorcycle owners who are considering deregistering their vehicles. If you are eligible for the rebate, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
