Al Hilal targeting Club World Cup glory

Saudi giants aim to become first Asian team to lift trophy

Preparations underway for tournament in Morocco

Al Hilal are gearing up for their participation in the FIFA Club World Cup, which will be held in Morocco from February 1 to 11.

The Saudi Arabian giants qualified for the tournament by winning the AFC Champions League last year, and they will be looking to become the first Asian team to lift the Club World Cup trophy.

Al Hilal have a strong squad, which includes several players who were part of Saudi Arabia's team at the World Cup in Qatar.

The team is led by experienced coach Ramon Diaz, who has won several titles with Al Hilal in the past.

Al Hilal are in Group B of the Club World Cup, and they will face Wydad Casablanca of Morocco in their opening match on February 4.

If they win that match, they will face either Flamengo of Brazil or Real Madrid of Spain in the semi-finals.

Al Hilal are confident of their chances of success in the Club World Cup, and they will be determined to make history by becoming the first Asian team to lift the trophy.

The 69-year-old who was in charge of Al Hilal between 2018 and 2019 also steered the AFC Champions League team to the Asian title in 2019, so he knows what it takes to win at this level.
