Kompany hungry for English weeks: "We want to win every game!"
Vincent Kompany is hungry for the upcoming English weeks. The manager of Burnley FC wants to win every game.
The Clarets have a busy schedule ahead of them, with three games in the space of a week. They face Huddersfield Town in the Championship on Tuesday, before taking on Ipswich Town in the FA Cup on Saturday and then Preston North End in the Championship the following Tuesday.
Kompany is confident that his team can handle the challenge. "We are in a good moment," he said. "We have a good squad and a good spirit. We are ready for the English weeks."
The Clarets have won their last two games, against Rotherham United and Swansea City.
They are now up to fifth in the Championship table, just two points off the automatic promotion places.
