Second Half Surge Leads to 7-0 Victory Over Cubs

Ryan Feltner was superb on the mound in the second half of the game, leading the Rockies over the Cubs and helping the team to secure a 7-0 victory on Sunday afternoon at Coors Field.

Feltner, who was making his seventh start of the season, gave up just four hits and two walks over his last 4 2/3 innings while striking out five batters.

The Rockies offense came to life in the second half as well, scoring seven runs on 11 hits.

Charlie Blackmon and C.J. Cron each had two hits and two RBIs for the Rockies, while Ryan McMahon and Yonathan Daza also drove in runs.

The Cubs managed just four hits against Feltner and the Rockies bullpen, which combined to throw seven shutout innings.

With the win, the Rockies improved to 26-42 on the season, while the Cubs fell to 30-38.
